Guiding and Capturing Extraordinary Polar Adventures — Leading Expeditions and Sharing the Untouched Beauty of the Polar Regions

I'm a passionate expedition leader and photographer specializing in the breathtaking polar regions of Svalbard, Greenland and Antarctica. My career has taken me to some of the most remote and fragile corners of the world, where I guide guests on unforgettable journeys through ice-covered landscapes, rich wildlife, and awe-inspiring scenery.

With years of experience leading polar expeditions, my approach is not only about reaching these incredible destinations but also about helping people experience them fully and responsibly. As an expedition leader, I ensure that every journey is both safe and deeply enriching, bringing guests closer to the untouched beauty of the Arctic and Antarctic environments while emphasizing the need for their protection.

As a photographer, I strive to capture the fleeting and rare moments that make these regions so unique. Whether it's a polar bear traversing the ice or the northern lights shimmering across the sky, my photography aims to tell the stories of these wild places and the wildlife that depends on them. I also teach photography on board, encouraging an ethical approach to capturing these incredible sights without disturbing nature.

Based in Ohcejohka, Sápmi (Utsjoki, Finland), I spend my time between the Arctic North and the Southern Ocean, combining my expertise as a guide, conservation advocate, and visual storyteller. My goal is to inspire others to appreciate the beauty and fragility of the polar regions, and to raise awareness about the impact of climate change on these ecosystems.

If you're passionate about exploring the poles, learning about the wildlife and cultures of these regions, or honing your photography skills, you're in the right place. I'm here to share my knowledge, my images, and the adventure of a lifetime.
